My focus as a Selectman - Issues that are important to me
The planned Public Safety Building and the Main Street reconstruction project are extremely important for our Town. As a Selectman, I will help exercise responsible oversight of costs for these projects.
Our schools are very highly rated, and the School Committee and school administrators have been diligent in delivering high-quality programs while controlling costs. As a Selectman, I will work proactively with the schools to reinforce this success.
A number of Town boards and committees have empty seats, while voters wonder how decisions are made. As a Selectman, I will encourage our many qualified residents to join their neighbors by participating in Town government.
We value our open space and our recreational opportunities. As a Selectman, I will work to enhance these assets, consistent with Southborough’s Master Plan and Open Space and Recreation Plan.
Our seniors want to stay in Southborough, and young families want to move here. As a Selectman, I will work to find solutions to the housing challenges facing both generations.
